Born in Milan in 1966, where he graduated in Architecture, from 1993 to 1997 he worked in Paris.
In 1992 he won the first international award Osram, for the design of an innovative light product. He designs products in the field of furniture, office, urban spaces for Italian and international companies.
Specializes and focuses its design activity in lighting research by developing and implementing innovative projects for public and private spaces, hotels, retail, museums including the Museum of the '900 Arengario Milan, Palazzo Ducale Urbino, Presidential Palace of Tirana, pavilions Expo Milano 2015, Expo Dubai 2020, Triennale and ADI of Milan and for several urban outdoor projects for the cities of Brescia, Empoli, Beirut, Reggio Calabria.
Since 1998 he has been signing light products both for special projects and for catalogues of significant Italian and foreign companies.
He designs award-winning products and reported at the awards if Gute Form, Red Dot , ADI - Selezione Compasso d'Oro; his products are on display at the world tour exhibition "The New Italian Design". As a partner of Studio Rota in Milan, he designs and signs architecture, building and interior design projects, installations for public and private, commercial and exhibition spaces in Italy and around the world, exhibitions of art, design and fashion.
Consultant for companies, magazines, galleries and design institutions on development and research strategies, enhancement, product design exhibition at institutions and museums of art and design in the world; appointed scientific consultant for the New Design Museum in Milan, lecturer at Naba and Lab. Master Lighting at Politecnico di Milano, curator of exhibitions in Italy and around the world related to the material culture of the product and international industrial design.
